Our Curriculum
At Faith Generation Academy Preschool, we provide a Christ-centered learning environment that nurtures the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional growth of every child.
Our curriculum includes Frog Street, our primary research-based program for infants, toddlers, preschool, and VPK students. We also incorporate resources from FunShine Express Christian Curriculum and Abeka to support age-appropriate learning while building Christian character and biblical values.
Frog Street focuses on key areas of development, including:

Greeting Circle
Children begin each day by building friendships, developing social skills, and creating a sense of community through positive interactions.
Read-Aloud Time
Teachers engage children with quality literature that strengthens vocabulary, listening skills, comprehension, and a love for reading.
Morning Message
Children are introduced to letters, sounds, print awareness, calendar concepts, and daily routines that prepare them for learning.
Literacy Lessons
Hands-on activities, stories, picture cards, and interactive learning experiences help develop early reading and language skills.
Moving & Learning
Music, movement, and active play encourage physical development while making learning fun and engaging.
Math & Science
Children explore numbers, patterns, measurement, problem-solving, and scientific discovery through hands-on activities and small-group learning.
Closing Circle
Teachers and students reflect on the day’s learning, celebrate accomplishments, and reinforce important concepts before dismissal.
Toddlers Program
15-36 Months
As two-year-olds strive for independence, we provide a nurturing environment with safe choices, consistent routines, and opportunities for exploration. By following their interests, we encourage curiosity, creativity, and growing self-confidence.
Our curriculum is designed to support each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while fostering positive relationships between teachers, children, and families.
Through fun and engaging activities, your two-year-old will develop new skills, build confidence, and learn through play while receiving plenty of love, attention, and encouragement every day.
Early Preschool Program
3-4 Years Old
As preschoolers gain confidence and independence, our early preschool program nurtures their natural curiosity and helps them become problem-solvers and lifelong learners.
Through hands-on learning, guided activities, and independent exploration, children are introduced to early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. Daily opportunities for physical activity, including running, jumping, and dancing, help support healthy growth and development.
Your three-year-old will enjoy listening to stories, exploring books, singing songs, playing games, engaging in dramatic play, building with blocks, creating art, dancing to music, and participating in many other fun and meaningful learning experiences.
Preschool Program
4 Years Old
The year before kindergarten is a time of transition for a four year-old. As your child reaches four years of age, is capable of handling many basic self-help skills. However, to keep growing and learning, your child will need new experiences and challenges.
Our structured curriculum and activities highlights a variety of concepts that your child will be exposed to. Our phonics based approach teaches children letters,sounds and pre-reading skills. We also encourage structured pre-writing and math skills.
Through our curriculum your child will acquire good grammar and a rich vocabulary that will set the foundations for pre-kindergarten.
VPK Program
4-5 Years Old
Our Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program prepares children for kindergarten through a balance of structured learning, hands-on exploration, and purposeful play. Children build strong foundations in literacy, mathematics, science, and social-emotional development while growing in confidence and independence.
Using research-based curriculum and engaging classroom experiences, children develop early reading, writing, and problem-solving skills that support long-term academic success. Our teachers create a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to learn, explore, and reach their full potential.
By the end of the VPK year, children are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed for a successful transition to kindergarten.
